About Norwich facials

Facials are by far my favourite treatment to give and receive. Not only do they leave your skin looking great, but it’s the ultimate relaxation. I studied locally to achieve my NVQ in facial skincare and strive to give the perfect facial treatment to suit everyone’s needs. As facials are my favourite treatment to have done myself, I know how important it is to ensure the environment is calm and relaxing. The facial is carried out in dimmed lighting with music on. Please feel free to bring your own iPod.

My facials combine relaxation and skincare by working the muscles on your face to leave you feeling uplifted and refreshed. The facial gently exfoliates and rehydrates your skin. The products I use are Kaeso, which have a range available for all skin types. I use these products for my own weekly facials and daily skincare. I find them amazing on my sensitive skin and gives me a clear, even complexion. I retail all my facial products, which are available to buy at the end of your treatment.

A facial in my Norwich salon isn’t just an incredibly relaxing treatment I also give you lots of information and advice on how to care for your skin at home. Diet and your surroundings play a massive part in your skin’s health.

For your own comfort, I recommend you wear a wide-neck top or strappy top or cover up with a towel and blanket. This is so I am able to access the shoulders and neck area during the session as my facial treatment includes a relaxing shoulder massage.

Home advise and after-care for facial treatment

In an ideal world…

Drink plenty of water daily.
Healthy diet. Vit A is very important for your skin’s appearance. You may have seen fancy beauty brands calling it by its full name Retinol.
Protect your skin from cold wind and hot sun.
Sufficient sleep.
20 minutes of exercise a day.
Avoid make-up for 8 hours after a facial treatment.
Avoid swimming for up to 12 hours after a facial treatment.
Avoid smoking, alcohol and sunbeds.
Wear sunscreen.

Deluxe Kaeso Facial Treatment

This is a 90-minute facial appointment booked out in my calendar, with 80 minutes of treatment.

Step 1 – Make-up removal (5 minutes)
Step 2 – Deep cleanse (5 minutes)
Step 3 – Exfoliate (5 minutes)
Step 4 – Face massage (15-20 minutes)
Step 5 – Professional facial steamer to open pores (10 minutes)
Step 6 – Removal blackheads and any small milia (5-10 as required)
Step 7 – Face mask and Indian head and shoulder/neck massage (10 minutes)
Step 8 – Toner (5 minutes)
Step 9 – Moisturise (5 minutes)

Please note the duration of each stage of the facial varies on each person’s needs.

This is a 60-minute appointment booked out in my calendar, with 50 minutes of treatment.

Step 5 – Face mask and Indian head and shoulder/neck massage (10 minutes)

This can be 60 minutes, 90 minutes or 120 minutes! It’s completely up to you. Pick your favourites parts of a facial or what you want to target. Some clients just want blackhead removal.

Having been visiting Lizzie for some time a facial was a lovely treat I felt I should try out after we’d spoken about the yummy new facial products Lizzie had on board recently. I went for the Luxury facial because of the steam element which I wanted to try. It really did work a treat to unclog pores & rid me of a few stubborn blackheads. My skin now feels amazingly smooth & soft and the head massage whilst the clay mask was setting, was just lush! The added lure of the Luxury facial for me was the option of Milia removal. I booked in for a facial as I had noticed that my skin had started to change over the last few months. I didn’t have a specific area to target, but I felt my skin was not responding well to my normal skincare routine. I am so glad that I had this done, I am glowing! My skin feels so soft and smooth.
It was also great for the advice that I got too. We spoke about how making some simple diet changes could make a world of difference – I never realised how much Vitamin A is important for your diet. I also didn’t realise that it is called Retinol! We also looked at the changes I may need to make with the products I currently use. I hate to say it, but as I’m ageing it might be that I need to look at what I’m using as part of my skincare routine.
The facial was a really relaxing experience too. It’s been a busy few months and it felt wonderful to take some time for myself.
