Defined brows in Norwich
The HD brows look is done in 7 stages- consultation, tint, wax, trim, threading, tweezers and make-up. This can be made as subtle or dramatic as you like. HD Brows is a registered trademark name and done by trained HD brows specialists. If someone is offering true HD brows you can check on their website. There is currently two salon in Norwich city centre that offers HD Brows. Normally from around £25-£35 per appointment and the additional cost of buying the HD brows make-up palette to create the look yourself at home every day, which is around £30. Tinting the skin doesn’t last very long as the sun soon fades it and so does your daily facial cleansing routine, so buying the make-up is a must! The thicker, fuller eyebrows are extremely fashionable at the moment.
There are many companies offering the HD brows look. Hi-brow is also a very popular brand and sells their own make-up. The prices vary a lot from company to company.
I am not HD brows trained. However, I can create a similar defined look with threading, tinting and make-up. I don’t like to wax eyebrows as the eyes are a very sensitive area and wax naturally exfoliates the skin which can cause ageing. The photo below was done simply with eyebrow threading, eyebrow tint and showing the client how to apply the make-up to create the look at home. I prefer using powder on the eyebrows instead of a pencil as it gives a softer look.
If you have dark eyebrows naturally you probably won’t benefit much from the tint and I would just advice booking in for only eyebrow threading. There are hundreds of tips on applying HD brows look make-up on u-tube.
A test patch for tint is a must at every Norwich beauty salon, without doing a test patch it puts the client at risk of a possible allergic reaction and invalidates the therapist’s insurance. If someone offers to do HD brows in Norwich without doing a test patch I would avoid.
