How to recover your broken powder pot.
How often does this happen to you? It drives me crazy. I hate waste.
One way to recover your broken eye shadow or face powder after it’s been accidentally smashed into little pieces is to mix a little bit of isopropyl alcohol in with it. You will need to keep stirring it until it’s smooth and all the lumps have gone and then simply leave it to dry. Don’t be tempted to touch it like I did before it’s dry! I personally didn’t find it was back completely to how it used to be, however it was very close! The powder is just less dense in the pot and not all of the alcohol evaporated leaving a slight smell. However, this is a great quick fix to mend a broken face powder.
I love this brand natural collection from Boots. However, I am moving over to makeup brands that are vegan-friendly and cruelty-free. I really hope more people start shopping with this in mind.
