Bridal eyelash extensions
This month I have done bridal pamper morning for the lovely Maria Vinen from Rustic kitchen in Norfolk. Her and her partner are getting married in France at Chateau Rigaud. They have arranged for caught the light to capture their special day. The whole day sounds like it’s going to be magical and I can’t wait to see the photos. To get married in France they had to have a pre-wedding at the Churchman registry office, but they’re determined to save dressing up till the big day and got married in jeans!
I spent the morning with Maria doing infills on her eyelashes and Gellux gel polish on her hands. She decided to go with the same eyelash extensions as I have: 7mm/9mm, 0.20 and C curl as she wanted a very natural look. These look perfect on her and really suit her personality and image. We chose the Rose Damask colour for gel nails, which went perfectly with her skin tone and engagement ring. We did the full set of Semi-permanent eyelash extensions 3 weeks previously, so Maria had plenty of time to get used to them. She has had many comments from various friends on them and her partner really likes them too. We also decided to tint her eyebrows ever so slightly and to tint her eyelashes to give them a fuller look. Also with tinting the bottom lashes you then don’t need to apply any mascara.
The eyelash extensions are individually bonded one by one to your natural eyelashes leaving a 2 mm gap from touching your eyelid. This makes them completely weight light and they don’t irritate your eyes at all. I give all my clients clear aftercare instructions on how to look after their eyelashes and advise them to book up a couple of weeks ahead.
