I do everything I can to assure you don’t miss your appointment and try to make life as easy as I can for you by text confirmations the day before (please don’t rely on text confirmation, put it in your diary too), new clients get their appointment restated in their welcome letter and Google event invite. The google invite also sends out an email reminder 3 days before your appointment.
However sadly I have a few poor attendees, so I have a deposit system in place for this. I understand it’s only a few isolated people, but this system now applies to everyone. Good attendees need not worry.
A deposit is required for long appointments like eyelash extensions. The Semi-permanent eyelash extensions appointment is 2 hours long, so I ask for a £7 deposit for every 15 minutes at the consultation/test patch appointment prior to your treatment appointment (as of 2019).
When you attend the appointment this will be deducted off your final bill, or can be refunded if you decide to cancel the appointment, provided that you give me at least 24 hours notice of the cancellation. If I manage to fill the appointment. I won’t charge you.
I have a very detailed account and marketing spreadsheet, which shows me how many hours each client has attended and failed appointments. Detailing the date, time and reason. Sadly if you are a regular poor attender I reserve the right not to continue seeing you. Read more on my blog post about poor attenders stats. I understand illness cannot be predicted, but ask you to give me as much notice as possible so wasted treatment time is kept to a minimal and childcare cover can be cancelled for my little girl or the appointment taken by someone on the cancellation list.
